About me

As a certified specialist in banking and capital market law, I have been advising regional and national credit institutions and other financial service providers on all legal issues in my area of expertise for over 20 years. In addition to loan agreement law, payment services law and investment advice and brokerage, this also includes regulatory issues including compliance with sustainability goals in the financial sector (ESG and sustainable finance). Of course, I also represent clients nationwide in banking and capital markets law, exclusively on the provider side.

Together with my team, I also advise and represent medium-sized companies and groups from various sectors in contractual and commercial law matters, in particular on warranty law, guarantees, distribution and contract drafting. I also represent clients in litigation, with a particular focus on the mobility sector.

Furthermore, I am authorised as a Foreign Legal Consultant in the Canadian province of Alberta, where our cooperation partner SNP Canada Ltd. (Calgary) is based.

I started my professional career in 2001 at our SNP office in Munich. In 2010, I founded the SNP office in Freiburg and have since expanded it with my partners.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

‘As in-house counsel for a bank, I have been working with Mr Pohle (SNP) for several years now. Mr Pohle represents and advises our company on all issues/disputes arising in the area of banking and capital market law.

The basis of our great satisfaction with Mr Pohle’s work is not only his professional competence but also his friendly manner and the fact that he always puts our interests as a client at the centre of his work. The cooperation is rounded off by an exchange on an equal footing, constant availability at short notice and a friendly team at SNP, which – like Mr Pohle himself – always deals with all enquiries/suggestions in a friendly, professional and timely manner.

I can therefore recommend Mr Pohle without reservation.’

‘I worked with Mr Pohle for 8 years in a Luxembourg board of directors of a variable public limited company (mutual fund family, SICAV with 11 sub-funds and a volume of approx. EUR 3 billion) in a trusting and results-oriented manner. At all times, Mr Pohle was a reliable partner with fast response times and fair and transparent pricing. I also greatly appreciate his cross-border advice (Luxembourg/Germany).’

‘As the purchasing manager of a large medium-sized company in the lighting industry, I worked with Mr Pohle for many years. His work focussed on providing advice and support in drafting contracts and conducting litigation.

Mr Pohle impressed with his expertise, negotiating skills and assertiveness. He was able to quickly familiarise himself with all situations. He was also appreciated by the entire management of the company. His availability on the phone and his speed and availability in returning calls were excellent.’
