About me

As a lawyer, I have been advising companies from the real estate industry as well as institutional investors and private individuals for over 20 years on all legal issues arising in connection with the acquisition, construction, management and sale of real estate.

As part of transactions, I carry out due diligence checks on the buyer and seller side and draft and negotiate property purchase agreements (property purchase agreements – asset deals or share purchase agreements – share deals).

A further focus of my advice for property companies holding existing properties is residential and commercial tenancy law and all aspects of property and asset management.

I have particular expertise in all matters relating to hotel properties, in particular hotel leases, operator and management agreements, etc.

My more than 12 years of experience as a notary have focused on real estate law (in particular property purchase agreements, transfer agreements, provision of collateral, declarations of division), company law (company formations, share transfers, reorganisation processes) and inheritance law (inheritance agreements, wills, estate settlements, legacy fulfilment agreements) as well as health care proxies and living wills.

Prior to my current work as a lawyer, I was an in-house lawyer at the Dresdner Bank Group. There I was responsible for the properties of the open-ended property funds from a legal perspective and for the bank’s own properties from both a legal and commercial perspective.
