SNP decisively expands private client practice with Maria Demirci

Munich, 29 June 2023 | With the arrival of Maria Demirci as a partner at the Munich office on 1 July 2023, the commercial law firm SNP Schlawien has taken a significant step in the expansion of its private client practice in the areas of inheritance law and asset succession as well as family law. The new partner comes from the well-known Munich succession boutique RDS | Roglmeier Demirci Rechtsanwälte PartmbB.

Maria Demirci (40), a certified specialist in inheritance law as well as a certified specialist in family law, is very well known in the Munich legal market and is regularly awarded by renowned business media for her work and expertise. In addition to advising private clients on asset succession and drafting prenuptial agreements, her focus is on representation in and out of court in inheritance and divorce matters.

Maria Demirci has been publishing for many years in various publishing houses on relevant topics in inheritance law and family law and is the author of several specialist book contributions, inter alia in the commentary on pension law (ed. Kurze), published by C.H.Beck Verlag, and in the Handbuch Pflichtteilsprozess (ed. Krug/Horn), published by Nomos Verlag. In addition, she is a regular lecturer at various further training events for lawyers and is a member of the specialist committee on inheritance law of the Munich Bar Association.

Following the addition of Maria Demirci, the Inheritance Law and Succession practice area at SNP Schlawien now comprises 16 professionals across all offices. At the Munich office, the practice group includes five partners, four associates and, as of counsel, the well-known succession advisor Prof. Dr. Rainer Hausmann, who has been on board since 2018. With this comprehensive personnel and professional expertise, SNP Schlawien is one of the most important law firms in the area of inheritance law and asset management, both in Germany and on the Munich market.
