Joachim Heffinger

Since being admitted to the bar in 1987, I have primarily advised clients in the areas of private construction, real estate, architectural and engineering law as well as commercial tenancy law. I also have extensive litigation experience in these areas of law.

 

I advise and represent investors in the property sector, medium-sized construction companies as well as architectural and engineering firms (also on behalf of liability insurers) in and out of court throughout Germany – including in the drafting of property-related contracts. As part of my advisory practice, I have adapted to the growing need and requirements of the market to resolve conflicts out of court in a timely, effective and economically justifiable manner. In appropriate cases, I utilise the instruments of out-of-court dispute resolution (e.g. mediation, arbitration).

 

I regularly organise practical seminars on construction and tenancy law that are tailored to the individual needs of my clients. I am also a lecturer for private construction law at the m.con Academy for the Property and Construction Industry. I have been listed in ‘The Best Lawyers in Germany’ and the Handelsblatt ranking of ‘Germany’s Best Lawyers’ in the field of real estate law and property law for several years.
