Michael Schmidt, LL.M.

In insurance law, I have been supporting insurance companies and policyholders for many years in the insurance contract settlement of legally and technically complex claims – regularly also in court, drawing on my many years of litigation experience.

 

Another focus of my work is banking and capital market law. Geared towards practical needs, I regularly deal with typical issues of banking law, such as the implementation of and compliance with regulatory requirements and the relationships between banks and customers. Regulations for securities trading are the subject of my advice in capital market law.

 

Construction and architectural law deals with the relationships between all persons involved in a construction project. Closely related to technical processes and the respective state of the art, I regularly deal with damage management in the event of construction and planning defects, fee and remuneration claims, questions of preservation of evidence, and the enforcement of warranty claims.
