Stephan Hoppe

As a lawyer and a certified specialist in labour law, I advise and represent employers – in particular medium-sized companies – as well as employees and works councils across all sectors in all matters of individual and collective labour law. This includes

 

• Representation and advice in dismissal protection proceedings
• Drafting and reviewing employment, cancellation and severance agreements
• advising on all types of personnel measures (transfers, warnings, dismissals, references) and
• drafting collective agreements (in particular works agreements and company collective agreements).

 

I also specialise in advising on the preparation and implementation of reorganisation and restructuring measures, including the negotiation of reconciliation of interests and social compensation plans. In connection with labour law disputes, I represent my clients in court before all instances. For many years, I have also provided training in the field of labour law for HR officers and works councils. I also take on civil law inheritance law mandates.

 

I completed my studies at the University of Leipzig and have been working as a lawyer in labour law since 2004, gaining my first professional experience in a medium-sized commercial law firm. In 2012, together with lawyer Alexander Pape, I founded the law firm Pape & Hoppe Rechtsanwälte, which specialises in employment law, and then moved to SNP in 2023.
