Münchner Merkur, 06.09.2024 | Despite alleged fraud: oil companies can have false climate certificates credited until 2025

In its article, the Münchner Merkur takes a look at the alleged cases of fraud surrounding so-called UER certificates in the renewable energy sector. Despite existing accusations, oil companies are still allowed to use their controversial certificates. SNP lawyer Dr. Wolfgang Heinze disagrees with the view expressed by the Federal Ministry for the Environment in this context.
