Dr Dirk Siegmann

Having spent more than three decades practising as a solicitor specialising in advisory and litigation work, whilst also lecturing at university, I now focus on providing advice and legal representation in complex family and inheritance law cases throughout Germany. To this end, I work closely with tax advisers and chartered accountants, property valuers, management consultants and other professionals who contribute indispensable non-legal expertise to the advisory and litigation process.

In both family law and inheritance law – particularly when drafting post-divorce agreements, arrangements for the succession of assets and wills – experience and empathy are just as important as a precise understanding of the legal context.
